Byron Wired Chimes

Wired chimes are the most reliable form of chime as they are hard wired. The advantage of this is that no other doorbells will interfere with your chime, however these are more difficult to set up as they require wiring in.

Most of the Byron range are standard chimes, coming mostly in white or other neutral colours. This is ideal as the neutral colours will complement many types of décor. One favourite at ADoorBell is the Byron wired wall mounted door chime kit. This kit comes complete with brass push, electronic chime and 5 metres of bell wire. A very reasonably priced option if you are planning to put your chime close to the push and will complement many types of décor. The chime will emit a 'ding-dong' sound.

An alternative to this set is the Byron white wall mounted kit which includes transformer. This is ideal if you wish to transformer operate your kit at little extra cost.

There are a variety of different styles of wired chimes in the Byron range. The majority are standard wired chimes however, there are others which have special features such as flashing lights or buzzers.

Other, more traditional options are available such as the victoria wall mounted bells from Byron. There are 3 different colours to choose from: white, mahogany and oak and these can either be battery or transformer operated. 3 x C batteries are required should you wish to battery operate this chime.
