Byron specialise in a variety of door entry products including door chimes, door bells, bell pushes, home automation, CCTV and intercoms. Byron is the largest manufacturers of door chimes in the UK and distributes products worldwide to a number of countries. Byron pride themselves on high quality, first class service complementing a stunning range of products.

Byron was established by Charles Hands in 1904, selling bell pushes from the garden shed. In 1970, the business was sold to Arnold White, where it was split into two divisions, one for machine turned parts and the other for electrical accessories.

Byron of today are a company who embrace change, with a vibrant go-ahead attitude. In recent years, the business has expanded, mainly thanks to the efforts of Byron’s fantastic team. In 2004, Byron celebrated its centenary, coming from humble beginnings in the West Midlands, now exporting to a range of markets across the globe, satisfying the demand of both the electrical wholesale market and the retail markets.

Byron now operates from Bromsgrove in Worcestershire, using a purpose built facility to facilitate two stock holding areas and several offices. In 2005, Byron were purchased by Europe’s largest distributor of Electrical Accessories, Roos Electronics (part of Spijker Holdings), enabling Byron to extend its offering to include Lighting, CCTV, Smoke Alarms, Home Alarms and Child and Home Safety.
